Penny finished her college education in Chicago, graduating #1 in her class with a degree in Interior Architecture and Space Planning, from the International Academy of Interior Design. She won a Chicago Merchandise Mart award and scholarship for the design renovation of an old church into a Montessori School. After years of pursuing her interior design business in Chicago, she relocated to Bal Harbour, FL, continuing her work in the South Beach area.

Penny applied her design and space planning skills to the new and challenging area of buying the worst possible condos in the very best neighborhoods. With the help of her crew, the condos were gutted and renovated. Penny began attending bankruptcy auctions in the Miami Design District where she was able to purchase high end furnishings for her condos for cents on the dollar. Once decorated and furnished, the condos were quickly flipped.

Having read about an odd little place called Roatan, she visited the island and was enchanted immediately. After 2 more visits, she knew she had found her island paradise. To live on Roatan and devote herself to work about which she is passionate, is a dream come true for Penny.
